Slim Paper Wallets that Lighten Your Load.

i discovered this from a couple of youtube reviews about small minimalist wallets - it won high praise and it seems to check off my boxes. most especially the need to store a couple of change and bills. so i put in an order, and then waited with anticipation.

it took 7 days from Kochi to Singapore. it came in a humble and eco-friendly packaging: no frills, just a securely packed little wallet with an intentional packaging.

it’s deceptively delicate, but designed with a robust build. to think this all came from a single sheet of paper!

it’s makes me feel happy i will be using something that is thoughtfully conceptualised. thank you Kan for creating such a simple yet brilliant daily carry for what is needed in a small wallet.

I purchased this wallet five years ago and it's been flawless!

There is a lot to like here.
The material feels good and it looks like it will get old gracefully. The layout is well thought. The flap behind the rivet is there so taller currencies like the dollar do not interfere with the closing mechanism. The coin slot and long storage card slots take almost no space due to the material used, and it keeps it's contents secure and it is easy to use at the same time.
You can also use the folds of the wallet to keep a key stored, although I am not sure if it is recommended, as it may create some pressure in the folding points and it could affect the integrity of the wallet.

Two complaints about this wallet (which are essentially the same):
1. It could be a bit smaller. It is NOT a big wallet, but it is about 1,5cm higher and wider than a standard credit card. I come from a trove cash wrap, which is a similar wallet, and it is a bit smaller than this one, as that wallet is about the same width as a credit card. (The Kamino is slimmer in girth but a bit wider)
2. You need at least 3-4 cards on the quick access card slot so the cards don't accidentally fall out. Because the wallet is a bit wider than a credit card, if you only insert one or two cards the extra width makes is so that the wallet does not grip the cards properly. You need 3 cards so the wallet grips them, and 4 if you don't want them to fall even after hard a hard shake. As a counterpoint, if you make the wallet less wide, you would only fit 2/3 cards in this slot as opposed to the 5 you can fit now.

I would still like to see a "less wide" version of this wallet, as it is my goal to have the most compact wallet that can carry cards, cash and coins and this wallet is close to perfection.

Order takes time to arrive here in Canada but definitely worth the wait.

Wallet itself is so lightweight. It is so simple to use yet so fuctional at the same time.

I would definitely be buying again.

1 year of daily use and it's still great! I usually keep 5 cards + cash inside and 1 card in the front.

Its really special knowing you are carrying something handmade by a passionate creator every day. This wallet has such a simple but efficient design that has just the right amount of "pockets" and "slots" to put my cards into. The material looks and feels excellent and seems like it will hold up for a long time. I highly reccomend anything from kamino.

Its a wonderful compact slim wallet. Yes its water resistant and durable its not like putting it in a lake or pond is gonna reduce it to atoms. Totally worth the wait and im loving it so far!

This is an excellent wallet. I waited some time to write a review, and it's held up great and deserves 5 stars.

The coin pocket and coin retrieval tab work very well to be able to store coins and select them when needed. It's also nice to have the exterior card pouch to hold a couple frequently used cards. Great for a train card. The durability is as advertised. The material feels great in the hand and looks great after 9 months of use. The slim design also sits nicely in any clothes.

There are a couple things that aren't criticisms but just things to be aware of.
The wallet doesn't have a "bottom" for bills. The bills sit in the wallet with friction. I actually like this design and it works great, but it wasn't obvious to me from the pictures so I was a little surprised.
The exterior card pouch can get a little loose if you use it for multiple cards. I typically carry 2 cards in that area, but had more in it for a time and it's now just a little bit loose when I only have 2 cards in there. So I would generally suggest to stick to 1 or 2 cards in that pouch.

Overall, fantastic quality and design. I don't expect to need a new wallet for a while, but if I do I'll look here again.

The Card Wallet arrived last week, very well packaged with nice little details that gave the order a personal touch. At first I was sceptical but now that I have used it for a few days it's become my favourite wallet. I love the feel of the material and its compactness. The amount of stuff it can hold while still looking tiny and elegant is intriguing. I will definitely order more of these in case mine gets damaged or out of production.

Kan was very helpful throughout this whole transaction. I was travelling to Japan and was hoping for the wallet to be shipped directly to the hotel when I arrived. Lo and behold, the parcel arrived right when I checked in. From placing the order to opening the parcel, I was impressed with the attention to detail and promptness of the communication. Needless to say, the wallet is what you see in the photos—compact and minimalistic. I highly recommend this.
