This wallet is beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship and has been by far, the easiest to use wallet I have ever owned. I’ve had it for about 2-3 months now and it shows zero signs of wear and feels just like new. Cordoba paper seems to hold up very well. Even with keys rubbing against it. Only issue I have is that coins like to stack on top of each other in the coin compartment. This causes the wallet to be super thick and hard to close unless you adjust it. Otherwise, I couldn’t be happier with this wallet.
This is the best wallet I have ever had. It is minimal in size, stores exactly what I need, and has the layout required to seperate the cards I use.
There is only one minor issue, which is that the coin purse sometimes lets a coin out if the wallet is opened on its side. This is because it rides up the fold of the purse closest to the cards, and in doing so does not intersect the 'lid' which folds over the purse and cards.
It would be good if the separator between the coins and the cards was folded backward slightly from the top, to catch any coins which escape this way. Or if the lid was designed to fold into the coin purse section, to allow the cards to be accessed without also accessing the coins.
I bought this wallet because my cash sleeve is too thin. The thinness makes getting cards out hard but this wrap wallet is super easy. The different slots fan your cards out when you open the wallet. When closed it is a little thicker I don’t mind it. The coin slot doubles as a card slot if you don’t currently have any coins. My only concern is the cash wrap section is ‘stapled’ (with the button) onto the card and coin section, other than this one concern there is nothing else I don’t like. Also, all Kamino wallets have this fresh paper smell that I really really like.
Genuinely pleased with this serendipitous discovery while looking for a wallet replacement. It's origami design helps me carry everything I need while storring each item in its own designated pouch. And i love how it even has a well-tucked coin pouch. All with a minimal surface area in my pockets!
I was also pleased with the materials sourced. This is a great alternative to leather that is just as durable and stylish, without hurting the environment.
Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Kamino wallets are really so well designed. I bought this particular wallet for easy access to cash and coins for small purchases in places such as markets and noodle shops that prefer cash. A design bonus are the slots in the wallet for things ubiquitous to modern life from transport cards to discount coupons. I do not keep these with my regular wallet that I use for credit cards and ID cards and serious cash. It would make the wallet too bulky. And by separating items that would be a real pain to replace should they be lost (both in terms of financial loss and paperwork), I reduce the risk of forgetting or misplacing them or somehow losing them due to getting one wallet out frequently for everything. In short, I am very happy to have found the Kamino brand.
